Company, Inc. has received the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody (CoC) Certification and can verify specified wood products used to manufacture Pella windows and doors come from certified, well-managed forests.

FSC standards
The FSC sets standards for tracking wood used in their products from the certified forest to the consumer. Steps of the production process – including harvesting, processing, manufacturing and distribution – must be independently verified for adherence to FSC standards. Only products from FSC CoC companies claim the FSC designation – assurance of a socially and environmentally responsible purchasing decision.
Offering FSC CoC certified products is one of many ways Pella’s windows and doors can help contribute toward earning points in the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System.
