This uniquely designed condominium complex is more than just high-end condos. They’re green! And we don’t mean the color, they’re environmentally friendly. Because “doing it the Bogdan way” means being innovative.
On the “green” roof is a mix of trees and plants that keeps owners warm in the winter and cool in the summer while reducing heating and cooling costs. It also shields the underlying roof from sun exposure which is important for a longer lasting roof, about 40-60 years. The average shingle roof is normally made of clay or another ceramic product that can crack, fade or wear out within 10- 30 years.
When Pella brought in Architect Series Luxury Edition windows for Logan Station, the quality of the condos went up a notch. We recognize the importance of environmental responsibility. Many of Pella windows, including the Architect Series, are made from renewable and some recycled material.
During the process of building, Chris Bogdan of Bogdan Builders endured problems with installing the outside mull covers, which cover the outer edges of the window. But, Bogdan made a request for the Installation division of Pella to come down and help.
Pella windows have been featured in LEED certified projects and have some of the highest LEED ratings available. The Architect Series Luxury Edition features an all wood window that is high in class, efficiency, and well…luxury. These windows are a perfect match with Logan Station’s high-end Gold LEED certified condos.
