How do I get broken glass replaced?
In the event of glass breakage, call our Service Department (1-800-59-PELLA), for safety reasons, as well as continuance of warranted operational performance. New glass and/or sash will be factory-ordered and installed by our factory-trained team of service technicians.
If glass is tempered, it will break into small rounded pieces. Federal law requires replacing this glass with tempered glass. This glass can withstand greater impact than normal glass, but is sensitive to scratches that may cause immediate or delayed breakage. Please consult your limited warranty and your homeowner's insurance policy for important specifics on glass breakage.
