Let’s face it, building a home is expensive. An investment in time to make the right decisions about your home is equally important as the actual investment itself. When we think “build green” we usually think expensive. But that doesn’t have to be the case.
An Arlington, VA homeowner, featured on WJLA ABC 7 news, made the choice to go green with their new home, aided by the direction of Lou Sagatov with Sagatov Associates, Inc. As one of Northern Virginia’s Premier Design-Build firm partners, Lou Sagatov helped the homeowner make decisions about the whole house, ranging from cabinet and countertop materials to products that improve air quality and energy efficiency.
Windows play a critical roll in daylighting - using the sun to heat rooms and provide light - ultimately reducing overall home energy costs. K.C. Company, Inc, the local Pella® Windows and Doors distributor provided the Energy Star® certified ProLine® windows and doors used throughout the featured project.
