I’m not sure there is a better way to establish yourself with a community other than just diving in. It’s difficult to reach your customers at a low cost so try some good ol’ fashion community service. It’s almost no cost and they’ll love you for it.
Last weekend, KC Company, employees and their families set forth to do just that – reach out. We joined forces with a few of our remodeling contractors and Rebuilding Together Baltimore and Washington DC - and the results were outstanding as well as personally gratifying.
As a team we set forth to help an elderly and disabled homeowner with some minor and a few major home repairs. We donated a few windows and doors to another project in Baltimore and Washington DC but it wasn’t just about the products – it was about donating time.
The benefit of joining our trade customers and Rebuild Together came from the fact that we just wanted to help. While we were there – we strengthened our relationship with our customers, networked with other homeowners that were also helping. Our employees and their families walked away with the sense of satisfaction and fulfillment just to be able to do something – a memory that won’t soon fade.
We strengthened our brand, our reputation and our community – a truly win-win!
